
Dr. John (Shu-Chiang) Lin
President
Dr. John (Shu-Chiang) Lin serves as Principal of the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning in San Antonio, where he provides academic leadership and oversees the development of high-quality Mandarin language programs for adult learners. He has previously worked at industry leaders such as Foxconn and at universities such as UTSA, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and Texas Health and Science University. With an extensive background in higher education, research, and leadership, he is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence in Mandarin while fostering cross-cultural understanding. Under his guidance, TCML continues to promote excellence in language education and meaningful connections through Mandarin learning.

Ellie Lo
Director
Ellie Lo oversees the daily operations and program development of TCML San Antonio, ensuring every student enjoys a welcoming and rewarding learning experience. She works closely with instructors, students, and the local community to support language education, organize cultural programs, and cultivate an engaging environment where adults can confidently learn Mandarin. Her dedication to education and community building helps make TCML a place where language and culture come together. Ellie currently also serves as the President of the Taiwanese American Association – San Antonio chapter.
